and then there was ICQ: i remember i used to talk to this german guy when i was like 13 and i told him would teach him english and he told me how much he and his friends liked ABBA and turned me on to the A*TEENS. i remember telling my mom about ICQ at this shitty local pub we used to go to once a week as i ate deep fried chicken parm and stale popcorn.
